Common Name: Juniperus Sabina
An astounding evergreen shrub with low spreading branches that has scale-like foliage and is so soft to touch. Brilliant green color is intensified by cool winter temperature that gives a soft texture. This medium grower does well in moist, well-drained soil and needs full sun exposure. Juniper calgary carpet bears diminutive, unremarkable cones resembling catkins that produce pollen. Wonderful selection for ground cover, mass planting and foundations.
