
Common Name: Japanese Pepper Tree, Japanese Prickly Ash
Displays a prominent pinnate, glistening dark green leaves that turn bright yellow in fall. In early summer, it bears a lovely greenish yellow flowers on small corymbs followed by reddish fruit with glossy black seeds. Grows moderately with height of 8 ft tall at maturity and spread 6 ft wide in dense, upright habit of growth. Full sun is best for this hybrid to cultivate well but tolerates dappled shade. It prefers rich, moist, well-drained soil. Best use for container, specimen and accent.
