Common Name: Marsh Marigold
The stems from the bottom of the pond produce small groups(usually 3) of bright yellow flowers, which appear on the water's surface. Eachflower grows to be between 1-1 1/2 inches in diameter and consists of ninepetals. This perennial is a favorite among pond owners, because of its colorful flowers and cold hardiness. The Marsh Marigold will survive to zone 3, and performs best in partially shaded areas.
