Common Name: Beacon Silver Deadnettle, Spotted Deadnettle
An outstanding perennial groundcover. It has small, heart-shaped, coarsely toothed silver leaves encircled with narrow green edges. From late spring to early summer, it produces short, upright pale pink flowers. Remove spent flowers for continued bloom. This striking cultivar grows at about 6 inches tall and spread 4 ft wide in mat-forming growth habit. It thrives in partial sun but prefers partial shade to full shade conditions in a wide range of rich, moist, fertile soil with average drainage. Deer resistant. Lamium beacon silver is suitable as accent,woodland and edging. It looks impressive in mixed shaded borders or rock gardens.
