Common Name: Bald Cypress
A long-lived pyramidal deciduous conifer that grows 6-15 ft high and 3-8 ft wide in 10 years. It has stunning charteuse foliage turning buttery yellow in spring. Ferny bipinnately compound leaves are quite outstanding which change into coppery-bronze in fall. Flowers nor the fruit are significant. Reddish brown corky barks add beauty to this perennial. It requires full sun in any moist, acidic, fertile soil that drains well. Ideal for landscape specimen, accent, foundations, near patios and small garden areas.
