Common Name: Dawn Redwood
Features soft, linear, feathery, fern-like golden-yellow foliage turning an outstanding orange-brown in fall. It typically grows 10-15 ft high in 10 years and eventually reaches 70-100 ft high at maturity. It produces oval, light brown female cones and pendant globose male cones. Barks are deeply fissured. Best grown in full sun in any moist, humusy, well-drained soil. Excellent landscape specimen or street tree.
